All things to know before and after your brow tattoo

Eyebrow Treatment

Prior to your appointment you will need to purchase and retrieve your own numbing cream, which can be done at HealthSAVE Chemist Charlestown, who we have partnered with to make it specifically

for each appointment. This will be $25.

Shop 1028, Level 1,

Charlestown Square,

Charlestown NSW 2290

Before you can order the numbing cream, you’ll need to print and complete a TOPICAL ANAESTHETICS RISK ASSESSMENT FORM which we will email to you. Once completed, please provide the printed form to the pharmacist and they will make your cream.

We recommend doing this at least 3 days before your brow tattoo appointment. Your numbing cream must be kept refrigerated.

PLEASE NOTE that if you attend your appointment without your numbing cream the appointment can not be completed and therefore cancelled. Due to this a late cancellation fee of 50% of the full appointment price will be charged and must be paid prior to rebooking the appointment.

ARRIVE 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow enough time for you to fill out any/all appropriate consent forms.

Please be advised that this is a 3 hour appointment and due to the nature of this appointment there will be no opportunity for any rest/toilet breaks during the procedure. Please make sure to take the time before your appointment for any rest/toilet break.

1 week AFter

During the healing process, the tattooed area will darken and minor scabbing will develop. This is because new collagen rich skin is forming underneath.
This new skin temporarily makes the pigment appear to be faded and dull.
This is completely normal and any inconsistencies will be adjusted at your 4-8 week touch-up.
Following the aftercare to protect and nourish the new skin and the colour will return within a few weeks.
